Yankee Pacific Aerospace Appoints Peter Hokanson CFO; Jormac division names Jerry Koh as VP, Flight Sciences and Colt Mehler as VP, Project Engineering

Yankee Pacific Aerospace Inc. (YPA) appointed Peter Hokanson as chief financial officer, effective May of this year. Hokanson succeeds Ron Moore, who has provided CFO consulting to YPA since 2010.

Hokanson has 30 years of experience in aerospace OEM, MRO and manufacturing companies in controller, CFO, business development and president/CEO positions, including positions of increasing responsibility at Honeywell, Garrett Aviation Services, MD Helicopters and Azmark Aero Systems.

Kennard Goldsmith, managing director of YPA said, “Peter brings valuable financial, business development and management skills and experience to our executive team that will support YPA’s planned growth.  I have known and respected Peter since our days working together at Garrett Aviation. Jormac Aerospace, a division of Yankee Pacific Aerospace, Inc., appointed Jerry Koh as vice-president – flight sciences and Colt Mehler as vice-president – project engineering.

Koh, one of the earliest employees of Jormac Aerospace, has over 15 years of experience in the design, testing, analysis and certification of Jormac’s cabin liner and bin systems for virtually all Boeing and Airbus commercial VIP aircraft.

Colt Mehler

Mehler, who joined Jormac in 2012 has over 13 years of custom interior completions engineering, program management and operations experience at Bombardier, Lufthansa Technik Completion Engineering, Midcoast Aviation and JetTech Aerospace.

“These key appointments are part of the continued refinement of the engineering capability at Jormac, as we align our capabilities with the evolving needs of our customers’ projects” said Steve Jourdenais, president of the Jormac Aerospace division. “With the introduction of advanced wide body aircraft such as the 747-8, 787 and A350 to the VVIP fleet, Colt and Jerry provide the know-how, leadership and continuous improvement necessary for Jormac to successfully support such projects”.
