Paris Air Show 2015: Esterline CMC Electronics Showcases its Newly Expanded Portfolio of High-Quality Avionics Displays

(Paris Air Show 2015 – June 15, 2015) Esterline CMC Electronics (CMC) is presenting its newly expanded portfolio of avionics displays at this year’s Paris Air Show, further to the acquisition by Esterline Corporation of the Aerospace and Defense division of Belgium-based Barco N.V. in January 2015. The former Barco avionics display activities as well as the training and simulation business are being integrated within Esterline CMC Electronics.

As part of the integration plan, all display related capabilities are being consolidated into one integrated product group. The new Display Solutions group includes engineering, product management and program management for all of the former Barco avionics products as well as CMC’s line of custom electronics display products and advanced systems. The new Display Solutions group offers an extensive range of world-class capabilities, including modules and control assemblies; video displays; smart displays; avionics as well as avionics software and application services for commercial and defence applications.
