Pacific Avionics & Instruments Wins BLACK HAWK Support Program From Brazilian Air Force
Vancouver, B.Câ€¦Pacific Avionics & Instruments, a Division of IMP Group Ltd (Pacific) has won a contract to support avionics, instruments and components from the Brazilian Air Force fleet of UH-60 BLACK HAWK Helicopters.
The value of Brazilian BLACK HAWK contract is $US 2.2 million, andÂ supports its avionics, instruments and ground support test equipment,Â the company reports.
â€œWinning this contact affirms Pacificâ€™s leadership position in avionics support services,â€ said Pacific vice-president and general manager, Gordon Bott. â€œAfter nearly 50 years in this business, we have the expertise to provide quick turn-times and quality workmanship for both civilian and military avionics.â€
Pacific has placed full time staff in Brazil to handle logistics and communications with the Brazilian authorities. This is one of the first contracts of this type awarded by the Brazilian Aeronautical Commission to a foreign company.
