NBAA 2015: Esterline CMC Electronics Displays its Industry Leading PilotView Connectivity Solutions for the Cockpit

(National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Airshow – November 17, 2015) Esterline CMC Electronics is showcasing its family of industry leading PilotView® Electronic Flight Bags (EFB), Aircraft Information Servers (AIS) and tablet connectivity solutions at this year’s show.

Building on the PilotView® platform, the company’s new EFB system features a 12.1 inch multi-touch LED display delivering high-end processing capabilities and Windows 10 operating system. Coupled to these displays and capable of supporting any tablet configuration in the cockpit, the PilotView® Aircraft Information Server (AIS) provides an integrated aircraft information management system, allowing for a wide range of applications such as performance and weather applications, along with secure aircraft network connectivity and aircraft interface capabilities. CMC is equally pleased to announce a platform wide roll-out of ?Windows 10 on its existing 8.4″ and 10.4″ products.

Esterline CMC has marshalled its considerable experience with its Aircraft Information Server and a range of aircraft interface devices to bridge the gap between classes of EFB systems such as purpose built EFBs and off-the shelf tablets. CMC also works with leading application providers to support software and communication system integration, a fundamental element of successful, e-enabled aircraft projects.

The PilotView® EFB is offered as a standard option by ATR, by Dassault on the Falcon 900, 2000 and 7X, by Embraer for the Legacy 600/650 and E-170/190 programs, by Bombardier for the CRJ700*, CRJ900* and CRJ1000* regional jets, and by Boeing for the Next-Generation B-737s and BBJs. In addition, over 30 STCs are available for the PilotView® EFB on aircraft ranging from the Gulfstream GlV/GV, Bombardier Aerospace’s Challenger* 600* series* aircraft program, the Global* Express* and the Global Express XRS*, to the Airbus A320 and A330/A340, Boeing B737,B747-400, B757 and B767.
