ATR 72 to receive AFIRS 228

ATR 72-200

This is FLYHT’s first certification from Brazil and will allow the Company to proceed with its first AFIRS 228 Brazilian customer for 12 ATR-72-200 as announced in a press release on November 12, 2013. The certification was received in a timely manner because FLYHT was able to submit for validation the certification package previously approved by Transport Canada.

If FLYHT completes installation on all contracted aircraft and provides recurring service for the full term of the agreement, the overall gross revenue to FLYHT will be approximately $2,561,400 USD, excluding optional services.

AFIRS 228 is FLYHT’s next-generation flagship product.  It is designed to provide a fully certified avionics platform capable of meeting all air navigation communications requirements in Europe, the United States and other jurisdictions around the world.  It also provides the input and outputs necessary to enhance the value of real-time data for FLYHT’s customers globally.  The AFIRS 228 will be the first safety services certified platform on the planet to provide black box data streaming via FLYHTStream™, FLYHT’s patent pending solution.
