Esterline CMC ElectronicsÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ PilotView Electronic Flight Bag Receives STC Approval for B737 Aircraft
(National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Ã¢â‚¬â€œ October 9, 2011) Esterline CMC Electronics (CMC) 10.4 inch Class 2 PilotViewÃ‚Â® Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) installation on Boeing B737-600, -700, -700C, -800, -900 and -900ER Series aircraft. has received Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval by theÃ‚Â Federal Aviation Administration. The STC was earned by Carlisle Interconnect Technologies of St. Augustine, Florida.
The certification covers a dual PilotView EFB installation enabling paperless cockpit operations, including aircraft data, procedures manuals and interactive electronic charts.
